Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr. Mathew Owili has been tested for COVID-19 as part of new protocols to manage infections in the county.
Under a directive issued last week by Governor Anyang’ Nyong’o, all county staff will be tested for COVID-19. The same will be applied to the County Assembly as well rotational fumigation of county offices.
Dr. Owili urged Kisumu residents to keep adhering to set government protocols on COVID-19 management and visit the nearest health facilities whenever they showed any symptoms.
The rest of the staff will be tested tomorrow and coming subsequent days.
