Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr. Mathew Owili this afternoon presided over the graduation of 221 MSMEs who underwent innovation training for Business Digitalization and E-commerce Accelerating Programme courtesy of Stanbic Bank Foundation in partnership with GIZ.
The project highlighted the significance of digital transformation for ensuring business continuity and expanding job markets. The developments will accelerate global supply chains enabling customers to quickly and efficiently access goods and services.
The County Government has actively supported MSMEs and offered technical assistance programs and initiatives over the years to implement the Governor’s vision for a stronger MSME sector through business digitalization.
He was joined by Tourism and Trade CEC Farida Salim, Chief Officer Designate Bovince Ochieng, Kajulu MCA Benson Adega among other stakeholders from the MSME sector.
