The 2025 Makerere Guild League Season 3 came to an end in Kisumu with 80th Makere Guild emerging overall winners and 83rd Makerere being runners-up at Moi Stadium, Kisumu.
Kisumu Governor Prof.Anyang’ Nyong’o speaking while awarding the winners said that the visit by the Makerere Guild League to Kisumu is an important part of life as it unifies, keeps healthy, energetic and prepares one for the many challenges that lie ahead.
“I called on the organizers to keep this tradition alive so that we stay fit and set an example for the younger generation to embrace the spirit of sportsmanship and friendship” he added.
