Kisumu residents let’s make way to the African Film festival currently under way at the Grace Onyango social center in Kisumu city.
The festival brings together film makers across Africa to showcase their films in àn event which kicked off on Thursday the 15th and will end tomorrow the 17th of December.
The African Film festival is a celebration of what is possible when the best of two worlds meet. The festival is a collective vision that focuses on films made by East Africans .
The festival involves film screenings, exhibitions, thematic conferences and film competition. The event was graced by the County department of Sports, Culture, Arts, Gender and Youth Affairs led by CEC member Ms Beatrice Odongo.
It is the first time Kisumu is hosting the African Film festival after Uganda hosted in 2018.
