The county government of Kisumu through the Directorate of Tourism under its marketing campaign initiative dubbed #Kisumu my Pride and its partners have come together to organize the Inaugural Kisumu Tourism week.
The three day event has brought on board the Kenya Industrial Research Institute, Athletics Kenya, Kenya Wildlife Service, National Museums of Kenya, Kenya Airports Authority in commemorating the United Nation World Tourism Day.
Preparations are in top gear ahead of the tourism week set for saturday.It will end on the 27th of September
themed towards tourism & green investments.
The activities will include; Tree planting under the city greening initiative, Kisumu City Run, Clean-up activities, conferences, exhibitions and entertainment.
