Kisumu County Deputy Governor Dr.Mathews Owilli flagged off Kisumu County teams which will participate in the Kenya Inter-County Sports and Cultural Association games in Meru County.
Over 300 participants in 27 disciplines are heading to the tournament.
Kisumu County are the defending Champions in Tug of War, Football,Netball, Choir, Golf, Handball (Men) and Traditional Baganda dance.
Dr.Owilli will participate in a golf tournament and called on the participants to have a teamwork and be disciplined as they head to the tournament.
The County’s CECM for Sports Beatrice Odongo and Chief Officer Timothy Nyakwamba were present.
