Earlier today, the State department of agriculture and irrigation, the COG and the counties of Kisumu and Kirinyaga held discussions on capacity development on enhancement of rice production(CaDPERP) II at the COG boardroom.
The talks focused on implementing the project which is jointly funded by JICA and GOK.
It was also agreed that more enhanced roles of the counties in implementing the projects. On thursday , there shall be a meeting with the PS agriculture for more discussions.
