H.E Mama Ida Odinga, today presided over the Kisumu Tourism Week, a significant showpiece to market the county’s tourism and cultural heritage. The county administration through the Directorate of Tourism under its marketing campaign initiative dubbed #KisumuMyPride and its partners have come together to organize the Inaugural Tourism week in a bid to strengthen and boost our hospitality, game and tourism sectors.
The five day event has brought on board the Kenya Industrial Research Institute, Athletics Kenya, Kenya Wildlife Service, National Museums of Kenya, Kenya Airports Authority in commemorating the United Nation World Tourism Day. The activities will include; Tree planting under the city greening initiative, Kisumu City Run, Clean-up activities, conferences, exhibitions, and entertainment.
