Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr. Mathew Owili this afternoon met a high-powered delegation of Chinese investors who are in the county to explore areas of investment and partnership to expand the local economy under the China Lesso Group Holdings Limited.

Led by KEDA Ceramics International Company Limited Managing Director Jack Li, they discussed broadly on key interventions to open up the county for business and economic outlays.


“Our administration has already established the Kisumu Lakefront Development Corporation (KLDC) as a special-purpose vehicle to drive investments along the lake region”, echoed the Deputy Governor.

Tourism & Trade CEC Farida Salim, Ag City Manager Aballa Wanga among other representatives joined the discussions.
